GOL!

GOL is a creative outreach program targeted to children, youth, and adults. Soccer camps will be held globally with the intent of reaching the lost for Jesus. The camps are associated with the World Cup soccer event being hosted in South Africa in June and July 2010. Soccer camps will feature the GOL evangelism soccer ball and the JESUS Film.

The camp center piece is a multi color soccer ball with colors which correlate to important aspects in the story of the Gospel:

• Black – sin / spiritual darkness
• Red - Christ's blood
• White - the cleansing power of Christ's blood
• Gold – God
• Green – growth as new believers

Participants will take home a mini version of the ball in the form of a hacky sack.

Funds will be used to purchase a targeted 10,000 soccer balls, hacky sacks, pay for shipping, provide the JESUS Film showing, and cover other related costs.

The day will be filled with soccer and the evening will conclude with the showing of the JESUS Film. The final action of the day will be praying the prayer of salvation with those how do not know Jesus. Many will leave the soccer camp as new believers in Christ.
